CJAX Planning for the 2026 finished at Cross Roads Hotel in Lilongwe

The Commandant MDFCSC Major General Vincent Moyo, the 2026 CJAX Coordinating Authority said that preparations are progressing well for 2026 CJAX.

He spoke this during the CJAX Main Planning Conference held from 15 to 17 Apr 26 at Crossroads Hotel in Lilongwe. The conference brought together nine SADC region Staff Colleges Commandants including Chief Instructors, Directing Staff, Exercise Sponsors, Police Mentors, Corrections Service Mentors and Civilian Mentors, African Union (AU) and from SADC Regional Peace Keeping Training Centre (SADC RPTC).
Delegates confirmed on the reviewed CJAX Books, Situation Awareness Template, Exercise injects among others. CJAX code named Exercise UHURU is a Peace Support Operations (PSO) exercise conducted by SADC Staff Colleges and other training organisations.
Learners use the AU PSO training doctrine over the week-long Planning Exercise to develop a mission statement into a concept of operations in the fictitious state of Carana. It is aimed at enhancing preparedness and peace effort in the SADC region.
